As VP, Liquidity Optimization and Risk Management you will oversee the global liquidity position, including cash and funding across all SiriusPoint Group companies. You will partner closely with the Global Head of Capital, Ratings, Tax, and Treasury, as well as the CFO and other senior finance leaders to ensure effective liquidity planning, risk management, and capital efficiency, while supporting global finance operations. The VP will establish and maintain a global governance framework and documentation thereof, partnering closely with Risk, Legal and other functional leaders. Additionally, you will support financial analytics and modelling across the business and play a key role in finance transformation initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business; Internationally recognized accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CA); 8+ years of relevant experience with a (re)insurance company, public accounting firm (big 4 experience preferred) or comparable; Robust familiarity with financial and data modelling; Ability to apply abstract concepts to financial reporting concepts to create data-driven solutions; Familiarity with reinsurance contracts and experience with application of US GAAP for reinsurance contracts, including evaluation of risk transfer; Experience with SOX controls frameworks; Experience with the preparation and review of US GAAP financial statements, BMA reporting, including BSCR, and SEC filings; Robust computer literacy skills (Advanced Excel); Commitment to meeting deadlines and ability to work overtime and weekends, as required; Experience creating reports, datasets and models using finance ERP systems; Experience implementing and using a treasury management system.
