BELCO is seeking a Fleet Administrator to join our Operational Support Services team. The successful applicant will be responsible for administrative programmes, scheduling planned, corrective and emergency vehicle maintenance, Transport Control Department (TCD) testing and licensing, managing inventory and stock levels, and third-party billing. Key Responsibilities Assist with planning and organising fleet management operations, including vehicle and equipment procurement, maintenance, repair and disposal Maintain an accurate parts inventory, create new stock and carry out audits regularly Schedule repairs or preventative maintenance, ensuring that the necessary numbers of fleet vehicles are available at all times Review and submit third-party invoicing on a regular basis Ensure vehicle and driver's licenses are valid and liaise with insurance companies regarding vehicle/property damage and repairs Keep detailed reports regarding vehicle accidents and injuries Assist Manager, Logistics with requests to TCD for new vehicles, permits, etc. Establish and evaluate work procedures, preventive maintenance and repair standards, service schedules, quality control programmes, and processes for hazardous waste and environmental issues consistent with company standards Prepare written reports on fleet operations Input payroll in the absence of the Manager, Logistics Organise workloads with foreman/lead hand in the absence of the Manager, Logistics Education, Experience and Skills Business or Public Administration, or a related field and a minimum of five (5) years of recent and progressively responsible administrative experience in Fleet Management Certification in Automotive Technology Possess or able to obtain a valid Bermuda Driver's License and a Bermuda Heavy Truck Commercial Driver's License within six months of hire Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liasie with all levels of the organisation Strong organisation skills with attention to detail Strong time management and problem-solving skills Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office applications and other programmes associated with the position Must be willing to work extra hours when required Excellent physical condition
