Efficiency Ltd is looking for a motivated and practical Technical Sales Associate to join our HVAC team. This role is focused on providing customers with clear, accurate proposals for air conditioning equipment replacements and maintenance contracts. You'll work closely with our service and installation teams, meet customers on site, and turn technical findings into well-presented quotes that help customers make informed decisions. If you're comfortable selling technical solutions and building long-term customer relationships, this role could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
Drive market growth by securing new customers and expanding the range of products and services offered
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Meet with customers to assess requirements for air conditioning equipment replacement and recommend cost-effective, efficient solutions
Conduct site inspections to confirm scope of work, access requirements, and pricing considerations
Liaise with the service department to confirm equipment condemnation and ensure accurate scoping
Prepare and issue replacement quotations following confirmation from the service department
Develop accurate proposals for the supply and installation of replacement air conditioning systems
Prepare and present quotations for preventative maintenance contracts
Identify opportunities to package equipment replacement projects with maintenance contracts
Clearly communicate equipment options, maintenance coverage, and pricing to customers
Coordinate with installation and service teams to ensure proposed solutions are operationally feasible
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including operations, field personnel, and other sales divisions
Support cross-divisional sales activities where required
Follow up on submitted proposals, respond to customer enquiries, and secure sales
Maintain accurate records of leads, quotations, and sales activity within Customer Relationship Management or internal systems
Provide timely and accurate sales and project updates to management and administrative teams
Maintain current knowledge of air conditioning products, replacement solutions, and maintenance offerings
Practical knowledge of HVAC equipment, air distribution systems, and ductwork would be advantageous
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Five to seven years of proven experience in technical sales
Prior knowledge of the HVAC industry is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to generate, develop, and maintain long-term customer relationships
Valid Bermuda driver's license and reliable transportation
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word., air distribution systems, and ductwork would be advantageous
