The Kitchen Assistant will report directly to the Head Chef and the Chef de Parties. Duties can include but are not limited to: Receiving and storing food deliveries, basic kitchen food preparation, facilities management inclusive of sweeping, moping, sanitizing of kitchen and all food service areas, including bathrooms and garbage disposal. Assists with any other duties as required by the Head Chef or Chef de parties. This role works with chemicals, so must have experience working with chemicals and following instructions on the labels. The Kitchen Assistant’s shift can commence early in the morning or end late at night after the guests leave.
Requirements
A minimum of two years relevant experience is required. Experience working with chemicals and following instructions on labels. Clean current police record (no less than 3 months old). Two professional dated references from a previous manager. Current resume.
