Our Client AIA Global Ltd are seeking a qualified Chief Underwriting & Claims Officer to join the team in Bermuda. The candidate will Execute underwriting philosophy, guidelines, and risk appetite for HNW/UHNW life business across international markets. Key responsibilities include reviewing complex underwriting decisions, supporting governance processes, contributing to reinsurance strategy, and partnering with actuarial and product teams.
Requirements
University degree in medicine, insurance, or related field; 10 years of work experience with 4 years in life insurance industry across different markets; Strong technical underwriting experience in HNW / UHNW, high-value and complex life insurance risks; Experience working with international markets and cross-border stakeholders; Familiarity with reinsurance processes; Prior professional underwriting designations (eg Director / Senior Director).
