Mt. Logan Capital Management, Ltd. (the “Company” or “Mt. Logan”) is an exempted company incorporated with limited liability and registered as an Insurance Manager in Bermuda. The Company is expanding and is looking for a dynamic, qualified CA/CPA to join the Finance team. The Financial Accountant is a new role and will provide support in all facets of finance function for both the Company and managed entities, including reinsurance accounting, reporting to internal management, regulatory authorities and investors. Duties include assisting with the preparation and review of financial statements, review of (re)insurance contracts, maintenance of reinsurance accounts, bank reconciliations, support of internal/external audits, and statutory reporting.

Requirements

An internationally recognized accounting designation preferred (ACA, CMA, CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent). 2+ years relevant post qualification experience within the Financial Services industry, experience in re(insurance) and investment management preferred. Knowledge of the Bermuda insurance market and regulatory environment is preferred. High level of competency with Microsoft Office and the aptitude to learn various systems. Extremely strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Flexibility to work evenings, holidays and weekends, as required.
