This critical leadership role reports to the Assistant Vice President of Compliance and serves as the designated Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO). You’ll drive enterprise-wide AML/ATF program excellence, shape compliance strategy with senior leadership, and establish the foundation for regulatory transformation. Based in Hamilton, Bermuda with occasional domestic and international travel.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field paired with advanced degree or professional certification such as (ACAM, CIA, CAMS); 10+ years of professional compliance experience, including substantial SAR filing with financial intelligence units; Expert knowledge of risk-based AML/ATF frameworks, CDD, EDD, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity detection; Proficiency with AML software platforms, compliance testing tools, data analytics, and sanctions screening; Comprehensive understanding of Bermuda Sanctions Regime and government agency requirements; Proven excellence in people management, team leadership, and organizational development.
