The Senior Associate, New Transaction Integration is accountable for executing and owning key aspects of the financial integration of new transactions, from initial accounting assessment through post-close stabilization. Reporting to the SVP or VP, New Transactions Finance Integration, this role independently drives complex workstreams spanning accounting analysis, financial reporting, audit readiness, internal controls, and financial systems integration. Responsibilities include owning documentation of General Ledger changes across multiple accounting bases, preparing complex journal entries, reconciling transaction data across financial statements and actuarial models, and leading integration workstreams across multiple transaction types.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CA preferred. 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, audit, or financial operations, preferably within the (re)insurance industry. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, US STAT, SFS, and EBS accounting frameworks. Demonstrated experience independently preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses. Experience working with complex transactions, legal entity structures, or reinsurance/accounting operations. Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Workday) and reporting tools.
