The Senior Analyst will be responsible for performing supervisory reviews of a compliance nature, statutory return analysis, solvency capital evaluation, monitoring a portfolio of life (re)insurance companies and reporting findings and recommendations to a Principal. Key responsibilities include assisting with day-to-day engagement with senior management, assessing financial resources, undertaking risk-focused on-site reviews, and monitoring the life insurance market for regulatory or accounting developments.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or an insurance-related field. A minimum of five (5) years relevant experience working within the financial services industry, preferably in long-term insurance. Working knowledge of the US and/or European regulatory system (e.g., US RBC, Solvency II) and global capital markets is an asset. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
