Sandys Secondary Middle School (Sandys) is seeking visionary, student-centered educational leaders to serve as Principal and Deputy Principal for our senior school. These roles offer an opportunity to shape academic excellence, strengthen school culture, and lead a dedicated team of educators committed to student success. Sandys is a vibrant and inclusive middle school currently transitioning to a senior school. We are committed to academic excellence, creativity, and student well-being. We foster a supportive learning environment where educators are encouraged to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. Principal: The Principal will report to the Chairman of the School Board and will serve as the chief instructional and administrative leader of the school, with responsibility for overall academic performance, staff leadership, operational management, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities (Principal): •Provide strategic leadership to advance student achievement and school improvement goals •Lead and support faculty and staff through coaching, performance management, and professional development •Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-expectations school culture •Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational effectiveness •Strengthen partnerships with parents, community stakeholders, and the wider education system •Ensure compliance with Ministry and Department of Education's policies and regulatory requirements. Deputy Principal: The Deputy Principal will support the Principal in the leadership and management of the school, with particular focus on student services, instructional support, and daily operations. Key Responsibilities (Deputy Principal): •Support curriculum implementation and instructional quality •Promote positive student behavior and engagement •Assist with staff supervision, evaluation, and professional growth initiatives •Coordinate student support services and intervention strategies •Contribute to school improvement planning and operational management.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience: Applicants must have a Master's degree in Educational Administration or a closely related area. Applicants must also have a minimum of ten (10) years' teaching experience with at least three (3) years' experience in a senior administrative position.
