The Marine Warehouse Supervisor (MWS) is responsible for the efficient operation, organization, and inventor control of marine warehouse facilities at both PW Marine and Mills Creek Marine. This role ensures the accurate flow of inventory between warehouse locations and the retail sales floor, maintains compliance with company standards, and supports an exceptional level of customer service delivery through effective inventory management and coordination. The MWS must have an in-depth knowledge of the marine industry, marine engines, and related technology, particularly Mercury engines and parts, and demonstrate a high level of proficiency in DockMaster, inventory systems, and warehouse logistics. Summary of Responsibilities Warehouse & Inventory Management • Supervise inventory across multiple warehouse sites, ensuring stock accuracy, location integrity, and organized storage. • Lead and train warehouse team members, providing ongoing performance feedback and conducting annual performance reviews in collaboration with the Retail Operations Manager and the People + Culture Department. • Manage inventory levels in DockMaster for all locations, including transferring stock between locations to maintain balance. • Cost and receive all ocean freight inventory and ensure timely entry into DockMaster. • Create and maintain inventory locations in DockMaster and ensure all parts are properly recorded. • Deliver received inventory to designated locations and ensure the safe handling and storage of all marine equipment & parts. Operational Responsibilities • Act as the supply chain interface between all locations by: • Ordering stock from Marine Centre Warehouse (MCW) to replenish retail floor and Mills Creek Marine. • Unloading deliveries from FRW • Deliver stock to the Marine Centre Sales Floor and Mills Creek Marine • Monitor stock levels in MCW and alert Retail Operations Manager when replenishment is needed. • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate inventory locations in DockMaster • Providing advice on external stock orders as requested by the Retail Operations Manager • Create pick lists and transfer items to replenish safety stock Systems & Process Management • Ensure DockMaster inventory and part numbers remain accurate and aligned with operational needs. • Assist in assessing existing stock and introducing new part numbers as needed. • Introduce and train team members on new software or Al tools that enhance efficiency, reporting, or inventory control. • Submit recommendations that improve product availability, warehouse efficiency, and customer service delivery.

Requirements

Qualifications • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the marine industry, including marine engines and technology. • Minimum of 5 years' experience managing all aspects of inventory operations • Must have boating knowledge and specific expertise in Mercury, Mercury parts and Mercury EPC • Completion of a Marine Engine Drivers course is required • Proficiency in DockMaster ordering, receiving, POS systems, inventory reporting and Excel • Experience in managing warehouse operations across multiple sites • Valid light truck license and forklift operation experience • Strong communication, orgamization and leadership skills • Proven ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced marine environment • Must be a self-starter with a proven track record of working with minimal supervision • Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekend or holiday hours to accomodate deliveries, stock management and operational needs
