The Head of Accounting Policy is responsible for owning and governing the accounting policy framework for the Company, providing authoritative technical accounting leadership to ensure high quality, consistent financial reporting and effective support for complex transactions, business change, and strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities include acting as a strategic partner to deal teams, assessing accounting implications of complex transactions, leading and mentoring the Accounting Policy team, and driving continuous improvement in accounting governance.

Requirements

University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent). Fifteen plus years of experience in accounting or finance under US GAAP or IFRS, with a minimum of twelve years in insurance, asset management, or public accounting. Deep expertise in technical accounting and proven leadership experience.
