The Senior Pricing Actuary - Japan Third Party will serve as the primary Bermuda-based pricing lead for Japan third party (3P) reinsurance opportunities. The role is responsible for pricing Japan 3P transactions and coordinating in Bermuda across Business Development, Investments, Legal, and external advisors. Responsibilities include lead pricing of all Japan 3P opportunities, partnering with the Japan team and external pricing partners, pipeline management and prioritization, investment and structuring support, and capability building.
Requirements
Qualified actuary with 10+ years' experience in reinsurance, asset management, or structured transactions. Strong working expertise in reinsurance structuring, pricing, and investments. Experience with 3P reinsurance arrangements preferred. Strong knowledge of Japan insurance products, JGAAP accounting, capital and regulatory frameworks. Japan market experience with cross-border transactions. Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder transactions. Experience working with external advisors (e.g., actuarial/legal). Strong project management and prioritization capability.
