The VP, Investment Performance is responsible for leading performance measurement, attribution, and risk analytics across Arch Investment Management's portfolios. The role supports senior management, portfolio managers, the quant team, and governance stakeholders by delivering accurate, decision-oriented reporting on portfolio results, drivers of return, risk positioning, and risk-adjusted outcomes. Key responsibilities include overseeing investment performance reporting, leading performance attribution analysis, applying an integrated risk-and-performance perspective, providing oversight of portfolio risk analytics, and preparing Board and senior management materials.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline; CFA designation is required (CA, CPA is a plus); 7+ years’ experience in investment performance, risk analytics, portfolio management, or a related investment function; Strong analytical, programming, and data management skills (Python, SQL, Snowflake); Experience designing/building proprietary fixed income attribution models; Experience with multiple fixed income sectors and derivative instruments (CDX, futures, FX forwards, options, OTC swaps); Experience with Bloomberg, Aladdin, and Clearwater.
