Newly created role for an Underwriting Assistant to work closely with our International Casualty and Property underwriting team based in Bermuda. The purpose of this role is to provide efficient and timely administrative and technical support to the Underwriting team, ensuring exceptional customer service and resolution of enquiries from Brokers/partners. The role involves assisting Underwriters with policy administration, underwriting new business and renewals within set guidelines and service standards, and contributing to the achievement of business objectives.

Requirements

Previous experience within an Underwriting Support role (min 3 years preferred). A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills. A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy. A proactive attitude and desire to grow. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
