Reporting to the Actuary, Valuation, this position is responsible for performing and guiding actuarial modeling and analysis with respect to financial reporting. Responsibilities include producing quarterly Bermuda Statutory results, assisting with GAAP Bermuda Economic Balance Sheet (EBS) reporting, building and maintaining actuarial models, and collaborating with other actuarial functions to support new business initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or any quantitative field and Associate qualification of a widely recognized actuarial body or significant progress towards a qualification. 5+ years' relevant experience including working in the life insurance industry. Proficiency in MS Office suite and any programming language. Strong attention to detail and excellent oral and written English language skills.
