Chubb Tempest Reinsurance Ltd. invites applications for the position of Actuarial Analyst. This is an exciting and challenging position for an individual interested in pursuing an actuarial career that will provide exposure to a diverse mix of insurance and reinsurance products and all functional aspects of the actuarial profession. Responsibilities include collecting and refining data, preparing reports on price adequacy, assisting in pricing internal reinsurance, updating pricing models, performing quarterly and annual reserving, liaising with Finance on financial reporting, assisting with the annual planning process, and enhancing processes with new automation.
Requirements
An undergraduate degree from an accredited university in math, actuarial science, or related field. Commitment to obtaining an actuarial designation with a preference for candidates who have already passed one or more actuarial exams. Interest in programming languages, i.e. Python, R, SQL, Excel VBA etc. Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work on his or her own initiative and in a team environment. Ability to meet tight deadlines and work extended hours and weekends when required.
