Reporting to the SVP, Excess Casualty Bermuda and the Head of Casualty, and based in our Bermuda office, the VP, Excess Casualty Underwriter & Casualty Brokerage Leader will be responsible for underwriting excess casualty accounts, serving as a key relationship manager and strategic partner to our brokerage community. Responsibilities include meeting portfolio profitability objectives, leading strategic brokerage relationship management, and supporting underwriting teams in broker engagement.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and/or professional insurance designation preferred. Minimum of 15 years of progressive Casualty industry experience, including significant experience across multiple Excess Casualty lines and complex risk placements. Demonstrated depth of experience within the Casualty market, with long-standing, senior-level relationships. Strong working knowledge of underwriting, placement strategy, and negotiation dynamics.
