Our client, Pelagos Insurance Capital Limited, is seeking a Collateral Manager. Pelagos is an expert capital allocator and risk selector in specialty insurance and reinsurance. The Collateral Manager is responsible for the effective management of the Company's collateral and funding arrangements, including Letters of Credit (LOC), Trust Accounts (TAC), and related treasury and investment activities. The role ensures collateral is appropriately funded, monitored, and reported, while supporting liquidity management, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and strategic treasury initiatives. Duties include acting as a key point of contact for collateral matters, managing issuance/amendments of collateral, monitoring compliance, overseeing security transfers, maintaining detailed reconciliations, and providing collateral forecasts.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree, preferably with concentration in business or finance. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA). Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the financial services or reinsurance industry, with exposure to collateral management, or treasury & investment activities. Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Powerpoint). Experience in a SOX environment is an advantage. Availability and willingness to work extended hours during busy periods.
