Our client, Arch Reinsurance Ltd. (Bermuda), provides specialty property, casualty and life reinsurance products through reinsurance intermediaries worldwide. The main responsibilities include pricing and monitoring internal company reinsurance, preparing submissions and analysis for traditional outwards reinsurance purchases, and model building and actuarial analysis to service inwards and outwards underwriting. This role is purposely varied as the successful candidate will be exposed to many areas of Arch Re's business.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in mathematics or actuarial science or a similar technical degree. FCAS, FCIA or equivalent designation is required. Minimum 5 years' actuarial experience in non-life insurance, consulting and/or reinsurance, preferably with 3+ years specific to property and casualty reinsurance or insurance pricing. Proficiency in SQL, Python and preferable knowledge of C#, VBA or R. Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office products. Ability to organize and prioritize a demanding workload. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
