The Managing Director - Insurance Operations will take the lead responsibility for relationship management and service provision to one of the company's most high profile and respected clients. Primary responsibilities include management of commercial insurance company operations, focusing on the supervision and development of staff, quality control within the entire portfolio of clients and responding to new client opportunities. Key tasks include providing comprehensive financial reporting, leading service delivery, executing client service action plans, and ensuring compliance with Bermuda insurance regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and professional accounting designation or public auditor with at least 7 years post qualification working with life (re) insurance companies is required. Previous experience managing a team is essential. Experience with Bermuda statutory accounting and familiarity with Solvency II. In depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS within life and property casualty commercial insurance and reinsurance companies. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated experience with presentations to executive management.
