The Portfolio and Research Analyst will prepare equity, fixed income, and macro-economic research, providing recommendations to the Investment Strategy Committee. Key responsibilities include maintaining databases for allocations, running analytic reports on Bloomberg, liaising with fund administrators and custodians, maintaining trade blotters, and performing performance attribution analysis. The role also involves executing securities transactions, documenting client communications, and providing routine customer service.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Commerce; Internationally recognized qualifications such as Series 7, Canadian Securities Course (CSC), or CFA Level II pass; Experience in investment performance measurement and attribution; Competency in quantitative analysis and financial modelling; Strong organizational, time management, written, and verbal skills; Excellent PC skills (Excel, Office), Bloomberg, FactSet, and Goldmine knowledge an asset.
