Based in Bermuda and reporting to the Bermuda-based Vice President, Head of Group Reporting, in this newly created role, you will champion aspects of our group accounting and reporting and systems processes, working closely with other teams as a trusted business partner. Key responsibilities include ensuring management information and financial reporting are complete, accurate and timely, assisting with US GAAP financial statements, technical accounting research, overseeing quarterly management accounts, leading Bermuda regulatory filings, maintaining accounting policies, and developing SOX compliance controls.

Requirements

Qualified CPA or equivalent; Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in a similar role within re/insurance or auditing re/insurance; In-depth knowledge of US GAAP; Advanced MS Excel skills; Experience with SUN GL, Clearwater Analytics, Wdesk or E*Trade systems strongly preferred; Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
