Park Indemnity Limited, a Bermuda-domiciled insurance company providing professional indemnity and cyber (re)insurance to a global professional services network, is seeking an experienced Deputy General Counsel. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, this senior role will support the oversight of professional indemnity claims and cyber claims, insurance and reinsurance matters, and related corporate legal work. This position is suited to a motivated and reliable lawyer with strong (re)insurance experience, including exposure to professional indemnity litigation and arbitration in an international environment.
Requirements
Qualification as an English (or equivalent) solicitor/barrister with at least 10 years post-qualification experience in private practice and/or as in-house counsel, including within (re)insurance and/or a professional services company; Experience advising on and managing professional indemnity claims, regulatory or disciplinary investigations; Experience in insurance and reinsurance litigation and alternative dispute resolution; Strong academic credentials; Willingness to travel periodically (US, UK and mainland Europe).
