This role is responsible for providing actuarial leadership across modelling and pricing activities, with accountability for account pricing, catastrophe modelling, portfolio insights, technical standards, and the effective delivery of actuarial support to underwriting and senior management. Duties include leading actuarial modelling and pricing of new business, providing technical oversight of catastrophe modelling using vendor and in-house models, and leading the development and maintenance of pricing and modelling tools.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, engineering, economics, or related discipline; Qualified actuary; Minimum of seven (7) years of actuarial experience in P&C pricing, reinsurance, and/or catastrophe modelling; Profound knowledge of NatCat models such as Verisk; Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and programming knowledge in VBA, Python, R, and/or C; Ability to lead complex analytical workstreams.
