The incumbent delivers proactive concierge services to enhance guest loyalty, coordinates personalized activity arrangements and recommendations, maintains pre-arrival guest communications, and collaborates across hotel departments. Responsibilities include providing professional, engaging guest service, establishing positive relationships, sharing information on hotel features, assisting guests with plans and arrangements, maintaining debris-free public spaces, and following compliance with health and safety regulations. Physical aspects include standing for long periods in a busy atmosphere.
Requirements
Bachelor degree or Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major. At least 3 years’ experience in a Concierge capacity or in a demanding guest facing role is required in a luxury hotel environment. Successful completion of the Bermuda Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) program is highly advantageous. Broad knowledge of Bermuda’s culture, history and tourism offerings is preferred. Demonstrated superior interpersonal skills, ability to engage demanding clientele, work well under pressure, and excellent communication skills are required. Previous knowledge of computerized Front Office systems and MS Office Suite is an asset. Strong work ethic, reliable and ability to work shifts, extended hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays is required.
