The successful applicant will have had a minimum of 10 years' extensive experience in the hospitality renovation and construction industry with a hospitality general contractor. The primary responsibilities will be the supervising of field Superintendents at a hospitality construction renovation project including the organization, planning, and scheduling and administration required to complete the work on time, within budget, and to the quality specified. This position will also function as a mentor and instructor to several hospitality construction management, superintendent and field layout apprentices. Extended work hours are normal.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years' extensive experience in the hospitality renovation and construction industry. Thorough knowledge of general contracts, subcontracts, construction documents, specifications, means and methods, and quality control. Understanding of estimates, trade allocations, health and safety, tools/equipment, and project scheduling. Knowledge of hospitality construction costs, survey line/grade, engineering principles, and accounting procedures is a benefit. Fluency in Spanish is considered an asset.
