The Captain will report to the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager. Will demonstrate thorough knowledge of Food and Beverage products and menus, daily features, specials and promotions, and services provided by the restaurant, ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte menus according to recipes and standards, ensure all service staff are aware of standards and expectations, conduct daily staff briefings at the beginning of every shift, ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment, motivate, lead and coach all aspects of team members’ performance towards achieving exceptional customer service, support the service team in providing a high level of customer service by training to service specifications and expectations. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand and walk for a long period of time for the duration of the shift, strong work ethic, highly responsible and reliable.

Requirements

At least two (2) years’ Food & Beverage experience in a fast-paced environment with successful completion of Food Hygiene training; At least 1-year previous supervisory experience as a Captain; Experience in indoor and outdoor catering services will be an asset; Police certificate required; Two (2) employment references required.
