Global Atlantic's Bermuda team is seeking a technically strong Senior Analyst to play a key role in the development and enhancement of our proprietary ALM projection platform used for Bermuda EBS valuation, BSCR capital calculation, and Embedded Value reporting. This role combines quantitative and financial modeling with hands-on Python and SQL development and applied AI/ML development, working directly on production ALM projection systems. The successful candidate will apply numerical computing, forecasting, scenario analysis, financial modeling, and machine learning techniques to support the continued development of the platform. The position will partner closely with Investments, Risk, Corporate Actuarial, FP&A, and Technology teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, mathematical finance, computer science, engineering, or another quantitative discipline. 2+ years of experience in quantitative modeling, financial modeling, actuarial modeling, data science, or related analytical/model development roles is required. Strong Python programming skills required; experience with SQL and/or other programming languages is preferred. Experience with numerical computing libraries such as NumPy and SciPy and data manipulation frameworks such as Polars, Pandas, or similar. Experience developing forecasting, simulation, optimization, scenario-analysis, financial, or actuarial projection models. Experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, or AI application development is preferred. Experience with actuarial valuation/projection platforms such as MG-ALFA, Prophet, or Moody's AXIS is a plus.
