Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; working towards CPA, CA or other comparable professional designation preferred. 5+ years of relevant work experience; recent experience in life insurance with reinsurance exposure preferred. Knowledge of US GAAP or US Statutory accounting required; knowledge of Bermuda Statutory and the Bermuda Economic Balance Sheet a plus. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with demonstrated proactiveness, good attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate across all areas of the company. Demonstrated experience assessing performance versus prior and expected on an insurance business. Experience delivering audit requests and explanations, and building and performing controls. Ability to work in a cross-functional team and thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment. High proficiency in MS Excel required. Familiarity with SAP, OneStream, W Desk, Tableau, Power Query and other reporting and analysis applications a plus.
