Global Atlantic is looking for two (2) Associate Actuaries to join the Bermuda Actuarial team. These roles will be based in their Hamilton, Bermuda office and will be part of the team supporting the Bermuda valuation and reporting process. The Associate Actuaries will also act as a liaison between Actuarial valuation, IT, Risk, and Finance as part of the production valuation process. Key responsibilities include working with the Bermuda valuation team to analyze and explain model results, contributing to modernization efforts, onboarding new reinsurance deals, executing validation and UAT procedures, and developing internal controls.

Requirements

4+ years' experience in or supporting the (re)insurance industry. ASA or equivalent required; working towards FSA or equivalent a plus. Life and Annuity experience strongly preferred. Strong technical and communication skills. Strong Excel knowledge (Power Query a plus). Coding language experience a plus (Python preferred). Actuarial modeling software experience a plus (MG ALFA preferred).
