Foundry Insurance Services Ltd. is a newly established, Bermuda-based centralised management platform for the life and annuity sector, dedicated to providing investment, risk, and capital management services to the insurance industry. The Actuary will be a senior technical contributor within Foundry Re's actuarial function, with primary accountability for building and managing the actuarial modelling capabilities that support pricing, FP&A, and new deal workstreams. This role carries significant ownership of recurring profitability surveillance, in-force projection, reserve validation, and the actuarial evaluation of new reinsurance transactions, with the potential to manage and develop a small, growing team of actuarial talent.
Requirements
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), or other actuarial qualification and equivalent level of experience. Minimum seven years of actuarial experience in the life insurance, annuity, or life reinsurance industry, with a meaningful portion focused on pricing and/or FP&A. Demonstrated experience building and managing pricing, FP&A, or valuation models in GGY AXIS or MG-ALFA. Working knowledge of life and annuity reserving and capital frameworks under US Statutory, GAAP, and Bermuda EBS. Proficiency in at least one of: Python, VBA, or SQL.
