Compass Holdco Limited is the Bermuda-based holding company for a growing family office with diversified holdings in real estate, public and private investments and a privately held multi-national branded retail group. The company seeks a dynamic professional to play an active role in the next stage of its development. Reporting to the Bermuda General Manager and other relevant company heads internationally, the incumbent will work on a number of group companies based both in Bermuda and internationally in the role of Finance Director or Chief Financial Officer as is appropriate in the circumstances. The position is ideally suited to a candidate seeking a career in an entrepreneurial family office with several underlying companies in the development stage. Duties include transaction negotiation and structuring, liaising with banks, overseeing real estate assets, participating in business development, valuation of investment portfolios, acting as a member of the investment committee, and preparation of financial statements.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or a related subject and a professional accounting qualification; A minimum of 5 years' post qualification experience, at least 3 of which should be in a similar corporate role; Real estate financing, capital management, accounting and development experience is required; Prior family office experience would be preferred; Proven experience in investing as well as international financial statement preparation, consolidation and reporting; Regulatory compliance experience; Excellent inter-personal skills; Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Excellent written, verbal and organisational skills; Ability to work under pressure.
