Reporting to the Director, the Assistant Director – Policy Projects will be responsible for leading enhancements to legislation, regulation, rules, codes and guidance initiatives in support of modernising and augmenting the financial and operational resilience of licensed entities in sectors for which the Department is responsible. In addition, the postholder will be responsible for leading projects to enhance supervisory practices within the Department. This is a key role for the Authority.
Requirements
A master’s degree in economics, business or finance or an equivalent qualification; Minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience, of which at least five (5) years should be at a senior level, working within financial services, a financial regulatory body, central bank or management consultancy; Knowledge and experience with the range of legislation and regulations associated with banking recovery and resolution; Demonstrated history of project management experience; Experience with drafting prudential policy legislation, rules and regulations is an advantage; Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills with a strong executive presence.
