Walkers is a leading international law and professional services firm providing legal, corporate, and fiduciary services to global corporations, financial institutions, capital market participants and investment fund managers. The Senior Associate will advise on all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution with particular emphasis on contentious insolvency, creditor and shareholder remedies, general commercial litigation, and contentious trust litigation. Roles include working within the IDR team in the Bermuda office advising on a wide range of cross-border contentious Insolvency, corporate and general commercial litigation, trust and regulatory related disputes, operating as a technical resource to clients, and conducting complex, high value litigation in the Supreme of Bermuda, Court of Appeal or Bermuda and in arbitration.

Requirements

Excellent academic and top-level experience; Bermuda and/or qualified commonwealth lawyer a minimum of 5 years' post-qualifying experience at a reputable law firm; Ability to independently conduct cases effectively with a proven track record; Determined ability to create and execute business development initiatives; Strong leadership and management experience, including delegating work and overseeing junior attorneys.
