Walkers is a leading international law and professional services firm providing legal, corporate, and fiduciary services. This opportunity is for a financial regulatory lawyer to join the Regulatory & Risk Advisory practice group in our Bermuda office. The lawyer will be dealing with magic circle firms and global financial institutions and will have a high quality and varied range of regulatory work, advising clients on existing and new regulations impacting Bermuda and international measures.
Requirements
Bermuda and/or qualified commonwealth lawyer with 3-5 years of post-qualifying financial regulatory experience at an international or Bermuda law firm. Experience in regulatory practice areas such as AML/ATF and sanctions compliance, licensing advice, cybersecurity, and data privacy. Knowledge of insurance, securities, and digital asset sectors is beneficial. Excellent academics with top level international experience. Solid legal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
