Aeolus Capital Management Ltd. manages capital on behalf of investors seeking the risk/reward and diversification benefits available from investing in the property catastrophe reinsurance and retrocession market. The successful applicant, working under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer ('CFO'), will be the primary owner of financial operations and reporting for a large segregated account. Key responsibilities include supporting the underwriting team, managing finance processes, account reconciliations, monthly NAV processes, budget preparation, and managing trust facilities.

Requirements

An internationally recognized accounting designation (CPA, CA, CFA, etc.); Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or similar field; A minimum of seven years of accounting experience with at least five years in a reinsurance accounting role; Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel and Power Query; SQL experience strongly preferred; Experience with collateralized reinsurance and ILS structures is an asset; Experienced in Bermuda statutory regulations and U.S. GAAP (ASC 944, 820, and 825); Microsoft Dynamics (GP) experience is strongly preferred.
