Our client, CHW Limited, invites qualified individuals to apply for the position of Executive Legal Secretary, Corporate Department. The executive legal secretary will provide a full range of support to Directors and other legal professionals within the Corporate Department. Candidates must have experience with and an in-depth understanding of how to manage and organise legal and commercial documents at a sophisticated level. The role requires a strong ability to prioritise multiple tasks, while being a consummate team player. Candidates should expect to be skills tested and be capable of working in a busy department of a highly professional, service orientated firm. This role will include working flexible hours, often at short notice and under considerable deadline pressure.

Requirements

A minimum of ten years' of recent experience providing senior executive support in the Corporate Department of a law firm. Superior knowledge of all aspects of Microsoft Office, INTEGRA, Lotus and File Maker Pro. Proven experience with electronic billing, collection and trust account systems. Advanced secretarial skills with accurate typing at 65-70 wpm. High competence in business and corporate legal terminology, writing, grammar, proofreading including experience managing legal documents. Ability to take accurate notes to develop reports and/or minutes of meetings and hearings would be an asset. Strong research and document production skills. Superior communication, interpersonal and confidentiality skills. Able and willing to provide mentorship to other members of the firm. Clean criminal background and employment references required.
