BermudAir is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead airline catering and food production for BermudAir and BermudAir Ground Services (BGS). This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and safety while delivering efficient production, cost control and customer service. Working closely with BGS ground operations, the Executive Chef will ensure timely and accurate aircraft catering and support contracted catering for private aviation and other airport customers, with potential to serve other airlines.

Requirements

Professional culinary qualification or equivalent experience. Minimum of five years' experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef or senior culinary manager, including management of a professional kitchen and food-production team. Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles. Airline catering or high-volume production experience, together with international airline or contract catering experience. Experience managing food production for multiple daily flights and knowledge of aircraft galley equipment and provisioning procedures (preferred). Experience in food purchasing, inventory management and cost control. Strong organizational and leadership skills; the ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment; and the ability to successfully train, mentor and evaluate staff. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays around flight schedules. Good communication skills. Detail oriented with strong time management skills.
