The Head of Accounting, Vice President role reports to the Local Managing Director in a business-focused environment. Your role will involve leading, supervising, and managing a team of accountants in the preparation and completion of financial statements, scheduling trust financial statement production, ensuring client requests are handled timely, maintaining trust assets inventory, developing accounting processes, and acting as the primary liaison for accounting matters. You will also oversee the group's accounting system and serve as the local subject matter expert for the Bermuda Corporate Income Tax Act.

Requirements

Internationally recognized accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA etc.) including audit background.
CFA or CAIA qualification is highly advantageous.
5-7 years professional experience in public accounting or financial services sector.
At least 5 years audit experience.
Private equity accounting experience is essential.
Hands-on experience with Common Reporting Standard reporting process across multiple jurisdictions.
Project management skills.
Sound knowledge of the Bermuda Corporate Income Tax Act.
Knowledge of Viewpoint or similar systems preferred.
