The Clinical Risk Manager is responsible to the Director of Quality & Patient Safety, for the day-to-day clinical risk management activities for Bermuda Hospitals Board (BHB). This role will include but will not be limited to investigating, managing and analysing clinical risk management data. It will also include overseeing the management of claims against the facility; Liaising with BHB General Counsel and other legal counsel and conducting risk management educational programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare discipline. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN), preferred (Licensed Registered Nurse) • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) preferred • Minimum of three years post qualification experience in a clinical health organisation • Involvement in Continuous Quality Improvement health care activities • Experience of teaching adults with varied educational background • Working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team • Membership in recognized Healthcare Quality and Risk Associations required
