The post works under the guidance and direction of the Assistant Director for Student Services and is responsible for providing a range of administrative, secretarial and clerical services within the Student Services Section of the Department of Education. The post holder also undertakes accounting duties for the section and facilitates the smooth operation of all Student Services activities by maintaining an effective records retention system and appropriate and timely communication with Student Services personnel, clients and with schools.

Requirements

A minimum of two (2) years relevant post qualifications experience is required, including experience undertaking senior administrative tasks and skilled in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google and capable of operating in a computerized environment. The post-holder must have successfully completed the Bermuda School Diploma (BSD) or equivalent and a one (1) year's post-secondary certification in secretarial and/or administrative studies having attained a typing speed of 60 wpm.
