The Bermuda Monetary Authority (Authority or BMA) is seeking the services of a skilled and capable individual to work as a Senior Officer - Strategy in our Policy Development, Strategy and International Affairs Department. Reporting to the Assistant Director Strategy, the Senior Officer Strategy will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Authority's strategic initiatives. To ensure alignment with the BMA's mission, vision and regulatory objectives, the successful candidate will contribute to corporate strategy formulation, conduct strategic research and analysis, and help build a culture where strategy is embedded throughout the organisation. The role involves a high degree of collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including working with senior executives and interactions with the Board of Directors.

Requirements

A master's degree in strategy, business administration, economics, finance, or a related field from a recognised university; a professional designation(s) in a related field is also preferred A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in strategic planning, consulting, or regulatory affairs, preferably within the financial services sector or a regulatory body Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic initiatives and managing complex projects Must have hands-on experience in utilising strategic tools and frameworks, including but not limited to PESTLE and SWOT analysis
