Under the direction of the Vice President, Public Relations, the post holder will work as part of the Bermuda Hospitals Board (BHB) Public Relations team, supporting communications with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders of BHB, including patients, staff, media, Government, healthcare partners and the community.Key responsibilities include: Drafting written and visual content for a range of traditional and online platforms used by BHB, including media releases, statements, newsletters, social media, website and intranet. Maintaining Public Relations (PR) databases for press cuttings, queries and interviews, and collating data for basic reports on PR Department activity. Managing queries from the community via website emails and messaging platforms, researching responses, and drafting initial responses for approval. Supporting major communications projects driven by the PR Department. Drafting leadership and physician biographies for website and announcements. Working within the PR team to meet organisational goals.Qualifications and/registration required: Bachelor's degree in English, journalism or public relations. Those with equivalent experience in public relations will be considered. One (1) year of experience in PR or writing-oriented work - voluntary or paid. Experience in developing captivating, high-quality content for different media platforms and channels. Ability to use Adobe design, video and photo editing software. Understanding of different media platforms and channels. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills
