Applicant must possess at least five years of retail management experience, preferably in a grocery store environment. These are small variety stores the successful applicant must be a team player and will be expected to assist the Store Owner in all aspects of the operation to ensure customer satisfaction and store profitability. Duties will consist of the overall running of the store, in the absence of the manager/owner stocktaking, stock ordering, cleaning inside and outside the store, stocking shelving, running the register, picking up and delivering stock, unpacking containers, and covering of all shifts when we are short staffed.

Requirements

Applicant must possess a proven record of good integrity and excellent employment letters of reference. All staff are required to work split shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays as necessary. This may involve working nine hour shifts, six days a week, splitting your time between our various locations when needed. All successful applicants must possess excellent customer service skills, be neat in appearance, punctual, hardworking, and self motivated.
