A rewarding and challenging career opportunity exists within the Corporation of Hamilton for a Parking Enforcement Officer. The parking enforcement officer works under the supervision of the traffic manager, and in accordance with the municipalities Act 2022 and the municipalities Hamilton pay & display parking ordinance 1995 on behalf of the City of Hamilton. This will include issuing parking tickets via the parking software system and maintaining efficient records for all daily transactions. Additionally, the candidate will also be asked to perform additional duties that support the effective operation of the City of Hamilton.

Requirements

Bermuda Secondary School Certificate or equivalent; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including word, excel, and outlook; Strong attention to detail in data entry, documentation, and reporting tasks; Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure, fast paced environments; Excellent communication skills, with a strong emphasis on delivering courteous and professional customer service to the public; Ability to resolve conflicts and handle difficult situations professionally and calmly; Physical fitness to walk or stand for extended periods while patrolling assigned areas; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to departmental policies and procedures; Ability to operate city motorcycle with a valid motorcycle license. If required for patrol duties.
