• Minimum five (5) years of experience designing Solar PV & Battery energy storage systems
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or related field OR certified as a licensed electrician with demonstrated renewable energy design experience
• Ability to demonstrate advanced proficiency in solar PV, battery energy storage and renewable energy system design principles
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, applicable codes, standards and renewable energy technologies requirements
• Experience preparing technical drawings, permit applications and regulatory submissions
• Proficiency with solar design and modeling, CAD or similar technical drawing software
• Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent projects, prioritize competing demands and maintain quality and schedule commitments under pressure
• Strong organizational and project management abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Understanding of local planning, permitting and utility interconnection requirements
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and technical specifications
• Knowledge of Enphase products, solar PV design best practices and battery energy storage systems is an advantage
