Working in collaboration with the Air Traffic Engineering ("ATE") Manager and Maintenance Coordinator, to support the operation of a range of facilities, systems and equipment, including but not limited to communication, navigation, surveillance, electronic detection, display, meteorological, and information and communications technology equipment, by carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance services. Also evaluates, troubleshoots, repairs, installs, modifies, commissions and de-commissions equipment as required. Oversees educational programs aimed at enhancing the skills, knowledge, and competencies of ATE employees through the utilisation of ATE Technicians. This dual-function role combines technical maintenance responsibilities with the coordination, delivery, and administration of training for all ATE personnel. It is generally structured as approximately 60% training coordination and 40% maintenance duties.

Requirements

An Associate Degree or a City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma (or an equivalent recognised qualification) in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of two years of recent and relevant experience. A valid Driver's License (light truck / manual) with the ability to follow safe vehicle operation and traffic procedures for aerodromes, and must be able to obtain a valid Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit (AVOP). Must meet physical demands, work rotating shifts, and be on-call.
