The Ceded Reinsurance Analyst plays a key role within the Operations team, supporting the accurate administration, reporting, and oversight of ceded reinsurance arrangements. This position is responsible for ensuring ceded reinsurance data is complete and timely, producing bordereaux and financial reporting, and supporting reinsurer, broker, and Lloyd's interactions. The role is well suited to a detail oriented professional with a solid foundation in reinsurance operations who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment and is keen to contribute to operational excellence and process improvement. Key Accountabilities: Ensure all ceded reinsurance deals are accurately recorded. Produce quarterly bordereaux for proportional ceded reinsurance deals. Monitor ceded reinsurance payments and claims. Manage ceded reinsurance collateral accounts. Manage operational relationships with reinsurers and brokers. Prepare ceded reinsurance quarterly and year-end financial reporting deliverables. Manage Lloyd's messaging process. Assist with Lloyd's regulatory reporting requirements as it pertains to ceded reinsurance. Assist with the interim and year-end audit processes. Other management information and analysis as needed. Other duties as required.

Requirements

Requirements, Qualifications, Skills & Competencies: Undergraduate Degree/College Diploma (finance, economics, insurance, mathematics, or related field preferred). At least two years of recent, relevant post-qualification experience in a reinsurance role, ideally with Lloyd's experience. Excellent organizational and prioritization ability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient use of Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. A strong work ethic. Flexibility to work nontraditional office hours as needed.
