Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline: e.g., economics, finance, statistics, science, engineering. Minimum of 7 years' experience with a proven track record in the Investment Management industry, including at least 4 years of relevant experience in a quantitative role focused on building and back-testing investment strategies and constructing optimized portfolios for implementation. Strong programming skills in Python, SQL. Strong mathematical/statistical modeling background. Demonstrated empirical skill; comfortable with analysis of large datasets, ideally including macroeconomic and/or fundamental company data. Experience in building systemic quantitative investment models in fixed-income, credit and/or equity markets. Hands-on experience with portfolio optimization software packages. Experience in a highly regulated, complex, data heavy environment. Experience collaborating with software engineering, IT and operations to set goals and oversee execution. Excellent communication skills with the ability to break down complex issues into clearly defined problem / opportunity statements and outlining a pragmatic course of action. Demonstrated ability to execute effectively, deliver results, and proactively anticipate needs. Strong problem-solving, business judgement and management skills. Strong team player with a customer-oriented attitude, willing to proactively drive solutions within highly motivated and diverse team across functions and geographies.
